The 6,000 foot long Ten Mile Canal Filter Marsh plays and important role in protecting
the precious water resources of Lee County(FL). The Marsh is a rainwater run off zone
that biologically protects the surrounding intricate waterways. By acting like a natural
sponge the marsh system absorbs pollutants and slows the speed of the water
allowing large particles to sink. The work shown here is created in partnership
for Dickinson & Associates, Inc.
